Delta Taxi Stadium – Bootle FC
Bootle FC stadium history
It’s been several years since Bootle moved from the ageing stadium situated on Switch Island to a new stadium close to Aintree Racecourse. While it is not in Bootle itself, the nearness to Aintree station and extra land surrounding the stadium has been a blessing for the North West Counties Premier club.
Bootle FC stadium capacity
Bootle has a single covered stand with a mixture of modern seats and standing areas. The stand runs parallel to the pitch and backs on to a modern and good-size clubhouse.
A further covered standing area can be found at one end of the stadium.
Bootle FC stadium information
The Delta Taxi Stadium is situated in an industrial estate but the extra land around the stadium means Bootle have been able to build all-weather five-a-side pitches alongside the stadium to supplement income.
The stadium is one of few to have the home and away bench on the far side of the pitch, away from the clubhouse and seated area. This gives spectators a better view of the pitch.
Admission (est.):
One of the least expensive places to watch local football at just £4.
Shop/Bar:
Bootle has a fully licensed bar and small club shop area. Refreshments are available from the clubhouse during games.
Parking:
Bootle boasts a small car park directly outside the ground and there are plenty more places to park nearby.
Public transport:
The Delta Taxi Stadium is a short walk from Aintree railway station (Ormskirk line) or on several bus routes (Aintree Racecourse).
